The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sutton moves out of range as Souza throws a body kick.
Sutton keeps the fight on the outside.

Souza tries to keep at a distance but Sutton has taken the fight into the clinch.
Souza is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sutton gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Souza wants to get back to striking at distance but Sutton won't allow it.

That was a close round but I would say that Jorge Sutton will probably get the nod.

Souza goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Sutton has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Souza but great work by Sutton.

Sutton decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Souza shoots in looking for a takedown. Sutton tries to sprawl out of it but Souza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sutton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Souza takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Souza can do anything to dispel that myth.
