The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Webb dives in and scores a takedown into Snake's guard.

Webb postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Webb misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Snake has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Webb can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Snake had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Webb defends it easily.

Webb knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Snake on the ground.
Webb postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
