The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns throws a big shot that misses.
Burns gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hennard sitting in guard here, content to control.
Hennard wants to control from the top but Burns keeps moving.
Burns can't keep his opponent in guard - Hennard advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hennard content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Hennard is trying to control. Burns wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Burns can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hennard is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Burns is just riding it out for now. Hennard eventually gives up the hold.
Hennard wants to pass to mount but Burns is defending the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Burns is trying to stand back up but Hennard is controlling him
Hennard seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Burns is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
