The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cardamom has managed to clinch.
Park has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Cardamom after a bit of a struggle.
Cardamom digs a right hand into Park's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Park's gas tank.
Cardamom lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Park or not.
Park is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Park gets control of Cardamom's arms and successfully pulls guard. Park will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Cardamom in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Park keeping full guard, as Cardamom tries to pass.
Cardamom not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Cardamom postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Park is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cardamom, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Park throwing strikes from guard but Cardamom blocks nicely.

Cardamom is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Park frees his head nicely. Oh but Cardamom has switched to an armbar! Park is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

After the fight, Max Cardamom was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
