Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jamal Baker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, David Bobinski!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baker closes the distance and pushes Bobinski back into the cage.
Baker works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Baker wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bobinski has him pressed against the cage.
Baker lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bobinski backwards.
Baker tries to circle away but Bobinski has him pinned against the cage.
Bobinski drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Baker wants to stall.
Baker lands with a right to the head.


It looks like David Bobinski has been cut.
Bobinski goes for a takedown in the clinch but Baker prevents it.
A short right from Baker.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baker scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Bobinski is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Baker is defending well.
Jamal Baker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Bobinski.

Bobinski has clasped his hands together around Baker's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Baker struggling a bit here.

Baker tries to escape but Bobinski is in control.
A lull in the action here as Bobinski stalls from top position.
Bobinski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Baker keeps working.
Baker might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Baker is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Bobinski controlling the position from side mount.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Baker fails to land with a series of punches.
Bobinski's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Baker connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bobinski scrambles back to his feet.
Bobinski walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Baker swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jamal Baker!
In defeat, David Bobinski stepped up to the mic, saying 'I have failed my coaches, my family and my self. This will not happen again.'.
