Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Serge Ibaka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Dundee!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ibaka has managed to clinch.
Ibaka pushes Dundee back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Dundee manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Ibaka got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dundee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ibaka has managed to get both his arms back between Dundee's legs - danger averted.
Ibaka slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Ibaka might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dundee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ibaka is one step ahead there.
Ibaka wants to pass the guard but Dundee is keeping the position.
Ibaka stays in close to Dundee's body and controls the position.
Dundee is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ibaka controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Serge Ibaka has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Ibaka rushes Dundee and presses him up against the cage.
Ibaka lands with a short shot to the head.
Dundee wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Dundee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dundee is trying to break the clinch but Ibaka has him pressed against the cage.
Ibaka lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dundee backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ibaka creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ibaka lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dundee or not.
Dundee wants to get back to striking at distance but Ibaka won't allow it.
Ibaka lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Dundee has picked Ibaka up - he's going for a ride! Dundee dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Ibaka is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Ibaka is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dundee scores with a couple of nice shots.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ibaka keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Ibaka wants to get back to full guard.
Ibaka is trying to stand up here but Dundee is controlling him well.

Dundee seems to be looking for submissions.
Ibaka knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dundee on the ground.
Ibaka is looking to control Dundee's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ibaka avoid being mounted?
Dundee prevents Ibaka from standing back up.

Dundee decides to return to a standing position.
Dundee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ibaka but Ibaka pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dundee is defended easily by Ibaka.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ibaka, as that shot connected.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ibaka lands a nice uppercut.
Dundee wants a takedown.
Serge Ibaka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Dundee.
Dundee tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ibaka smiles and moves away.
Ibaka connects with a nice looking jab.


Dundee is rocked!
Ibaka cracks Dundee on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Dundee falls backwards against the cage. Ibaka follows up with more strikes that drop Dundee to his knees. Ibaka keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Dundee! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Serge Ibaka!
