Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bertram Battle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Concepcion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Battle throws a right and a left that both miss.
Concepcion moves out of range of the body kick from Battle.
Concepcion uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Battle.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Concepcion checks a leg kick.

Concepcion tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Concepcion has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Concepcion goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Battle rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Concepcion's guard! Nice work there by Battle!

Battle got a little sloppy there for a moment and Concepcion has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Battle has managed to get both his arms back between Concepcion's legs - danger averted.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Concepcion goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Battle has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Concepcion but great work by Battle.

Battle is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Concepcion is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
