Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josey Wales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Elton John - Rocket Man. Mike Black is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wales slips a jab from Black.

Wales drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Black pulls Wales in close to prevent any damage.
Wales trying to control but Black is working from the bottom.
Wales trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Wales with a flurry of punches that miss.
Black looking for a sweep. Not yet Black, not yet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Black takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Wales gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Black throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Black is looking to clinch but Wales is avoiding it.
Wales shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Black as he avoids it easily.
Black takes a swing at Wales's ribcage but misses.
Mike Black is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wales slips a jab and a cross from Black.
No joy there for Black, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Wales feints and as Black raises his hands in defense, Wales changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Black wants to stand up but Wales is controlling him.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Wales stays in close to Black's body and controls the position.

Black tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Wales trying to control but Black is working from the bottom.
Wales scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Black looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Black is wriggling around but Wales manages to pass to half guard.
Black keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Wales wants to advance to full mount but Black doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Black circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wales changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Black tries to avoid it but Wales manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Black to the ground. Black escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Wales darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Black on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Black tries to get out of the position.

Black looks like he's trying to stand up.

Black is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Black dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wales.
Wales misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Wales shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Wales was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Black tries to hold on but Wales pushes him away.
Wales can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Black is looking to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wales unloads with some shots from mount but Black bucks and avoids them well.
Black is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Wales prevents Black from getting the reversal.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Black is looking to control Wales's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Black avoid being mounted?
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Wales has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Black is trying desperately to improve position.

Josey Wales showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Horrible takedown by Wales or perhaps it was just good defense by Black which made him look bad.

Wales connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Mike Black is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Black throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Black has Wales up against the ropes in a clinch.
Black prevents a takedown attempt there.

Wales jumps into guard, dragging Black to the mat.
Wales controls Black momentarily but Black frees himself.
Black stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wales swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Black passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Wales is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Black looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Black is stalling here. Wales is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Black seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Wales has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Mike Black just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Wales lands the left hand.

Black tries to keep at a distance but Wales has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wales is trying to drag Black to the mat but Black just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Wales keeps control of Black as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Josey Wales is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Black.
I think Wales has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
