Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johny Persecutioned (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Marcao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Persecutioned comes to the cage accompanied by Aristocrat - Money, cars and castles. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcao shoots in for a double leg but Persecutioned sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Marcao shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Persecutioned manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Persecutioned managing to control the position.
Marcao stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Persecutioned swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Persecutioned on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Persecutioned tries to get out of the position.
Marcao got a little sloppy there for a moment and Persecutioned has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marcao has managed to get both his arms back between Persecutioned's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Marcao seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Marcao looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Persecutioned definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Marcao tries to close the distance and clinch but Persecutioned swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Marcao tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Persecutioned manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Persecutioned lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Javier Marcao has been cut.
Persecutioned drops Marcao with a right and a left! Persecutioned comes rushing in but Marcao regains his composure and manages to keep Persecutioned in guard.
Marcao is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Persecutioned has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Marcao is proving hard to escape from.
Marcao is looking to cinch up a triangle. Persecutioned throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Marcao's body to avoid the submission. Marcao has instead reached around Persecutioned's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Marcao arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Javier Marcao!
A relieved looking Javier Marcao thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Johny Persecutioned was interviewed post fight and said 'Oops.. i mmmm dommmm mmm. You mmmow. Vercilio wasmm mmbmemtmmtmmermm tonimmghtm.'.
