The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trzebiatowski uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Theokoles.
Theokoles fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Trzebiatowski looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Theokoles connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Trzebiatowski's hands.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Theokoles can do anything to dispel that myth.

Trzebiatowski is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Theokoles is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Trzebiatowski scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trzebiatowski looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Theokoles with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Theokoles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trzebiatowski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
