The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Earnhardt drives through and clinches with Haraldsson against the cage.
Haraldsson misses with a knee strike.
Earnhardt tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Earnhardt should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Earnhardt with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Earnhardt tries to land a knee to the head but Haraldsson blocks with his arms.

Earnhardt breaks the clinch.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Earnhardt has eaten all the pies!
Haraldsson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Earnhardt tries a head kick but it misses.
Haraldsson swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Earnhardt tried to score with a low kick but Haraldsson checks it.
Haraldsson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Earnhardt ducks into a a hook from Haraldsson and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!

It looks like Bernard Earnhardt has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Haraldsson moves out of range of the body kick.
Earnhardt throws a head kick that misses
and Haraldsson counters with a body kick that stops Earnhardt in his tracks momentarily.
Earnhardt looks winded!

Haraldsson looks low and kicks high, catching Earnhardt right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!
Earnhardt throws a head kick that misses.
Haraldsson lands a leg kick that knocks Earnhardt off balance momentarily.

Haraldsson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Haraldsson misses with an uppercut.
Earnhardt avoids a punch combination nicely.

Haraldsson connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Earnhardt onto his butt! Earnhardt bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Haraldsson weaves into range and cracks Earnhardt right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Earnhardt goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Haraldsson is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Svend Haraldsson!
