The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva moves away from the strike by Tua .
Silva definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A combination from Silva does no damage.
Silva throws a right and a left that Tua avoids nicely.
Tua takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Silva throws a series of punches but Tua avoids them all with ease.
Silva takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A swing and a miss from Silva .
Tua walks into a jab.
Silva tries to clinch but Tua moves out of range.
Tua has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tua tests Silva 's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Silva jabs Tua right on the nose. Tua blinks but takes it well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tua fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Tua uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Silva has time to react.
Silva tries to clinch but Tua moves out of range.

Silva bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Silva misses with a hook to the body
and Tua connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tua lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.
Tua looks to land a left hand but Silva moved out of range nicely.
Tua scores with a shot to the body.
Tua throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Silva rushes Tua and presses him up against the cage.

Silva breaks from the clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from Tua misses the target.

Tua goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Silva tries to bum rush Tua with a series of wild strikes but Tua uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Nice uppercut lands for Tua . That snapped Silva 's head back.

Silva uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tua has time to react.

Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tua moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tua is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Silva had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Silva connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tua . Tua circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tua fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Silva looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Silva throws a jab when Tua was well out of range.
Silva has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Silva there as he acknowledges the shot.
Tua takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Silva smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Silva closes the distance and clinches.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tua wants to get back to striking at distance but Silva won't allow it.

Silva manages to break the clinch.
Tua defending well as Silva loads up on a big left hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Samson Tua will probably get the nod.
That's time! Silva 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Silva takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Silva displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tua throws out the jab.
Tua connects with a jab.

Oooooh!!! Silva has knocked Tua down with a huge combo! Silva steps away and waves a wobbly Tua back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Tua is rocked!

It looks like Samson Tua has been cut.
Tua takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tua is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silva connects with a nice cross there... Tua is looking wobbly and Silva recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Tua to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Silva jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
