Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
AS clinches.
Perry is looking to take this one to the mat.
Perry wants to take the fight to the mat but AS manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
AS goes for a takedown in the clinch but Perry prevents it.
AS pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Perry is defended easily by AS.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Perry. That's going to take a lot out of him.
AS tries to clinch but Perry moves out of range.
AS misses with a takedown attempt - Perry sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
AS gets caught napping as Perry dives in and scores a takedown. AS manages to retain guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Perry lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
AS is trying to control the position from the bottom.
AS bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Perry's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by AS AS.
Perry leaves AS with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Perry counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in AS's guard now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
