Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edu Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Sinatra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Sinatra is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alvarez shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Sinatra is staying active underneath Alvarez, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Sinatra fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Alvarez sprawls well initially but Sinatra persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Frank Sinatra showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Alvarez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Alvarez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Alvarez shoots in but Sinatra avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Alvarez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sinatra looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Sinatra is looking for a sweep.
Edu Alvarez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Alvarez has an Americana. Sinatra didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Alvarez is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Alvarez hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
