Corrales comes into the arena with Party Up blaring out of the sound system. Joseph Corrales could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jack Mitchelson's chin.

Mitchelson feints a jab promting Corrales to slip. Mitchelson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Corrales slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mitchelson drops Corrales with a beautiful combination! Corrales stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mitchelson is looking for the KO!
Corrales slips a jab and a cross from Mitchelson.
Mitchelson misses with a few strikes there.
Mitchelson looks to land a combination. Corrales sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Corrales dives in and grabs Mitchelson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mitchelson pushes down on Corrales's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joseph Corrales. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Corrales doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Corrales changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mitchelson tries to avoid it but Corrales manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mitchelson to the ground. Mitchelson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Corrales. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Mitchelson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mitchelson steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Corrales is out on his feet! Mitchelson sets himself and nearly takes Corrales's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
