The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Josh's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Baltasar connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Josh scrambles back to his feet.
Josh avoids the body shot from Baltasar.
Baltasar works the jab nicely.
Josh throws a left and a right that both miss
and Baltasar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

I was talking to Baltasar's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
A short uppercut from Baltasar.
Baltasar lands a hook that snaps the head of Josh backwards.

Josh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Baltasar wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Josh throws a right hand that misses
and Josh takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Baltasar throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Baltasar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Baltasar comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Josh looks to score with a jab to the body but Baltasar is just out of range.

Josh with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Baltasar to score with a decent uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oooooh!!! Baltasar has knocked Josh down with a huge combo! Baltasar steps away and waves a wobbly Josh back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Josh circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Baltasar. Josh falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Baltasar!
