Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Guido Cannetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Havok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Havok is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Genesis. George Havok has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cannetti gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Cannetti closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Havok did well to prevent Cannetti getting side control.

Cannetti is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Havok has managed to free his arm - good work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cannetti is working for a guillotine from mount but Havok frees his head quite easily.

Cannetti has control of Havok's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Havok regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Havok tries to hold on but Cannetti postures up.
Havok is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cannetti tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Havok is looking to get to half guard.
Cannetti throwing strikes here but Havok is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Cannetti rushes Havok and presses him up against the cage.
Cannetti creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Havok's defenses.

It looks like George Havok has been cut.
Havok wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cannetti has him pressed against the cage.
Havok is breathing heavily.

Cannetti tries to score a body lock takedown but Havok shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Havok got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cannetti has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Havok has managed to get both his arms back between Cannetti's legs - danger averted.

Havok really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cannetti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cannetti has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Havok can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Havok wants to stand and escape but instead Cannetti has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Havok is fighting to break Cannetti's control of his arms but Cannetti is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
