The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valcic tries to bum rush Landry with a series of wild strikes but Landry uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Landry could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Landry takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Dennis Landry has been cut.
Valcic throws a series of punches but Landry avoids them all with ease.
Valcic throws a nice looking combination but Landry bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Valcic!
Slavko Valcic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice combination there by Valcic.
Landry stuns Valcic with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Valcic throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Landry takes the fight into the clinch.
Valcic is trying to break free.
Landry goes for a takedown in the clinch but Valcic prevents it.
Valcic tries to circle away but Landry has him pinned against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Landry has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Valcic after a bit of a struggle.

Landry manages to break the clinch.
Valcic misses with a few strikes there.
Valcic's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Valcic duly obliges.
Valcic throws a series of punches but Landry moves out of range.
Valcic looks to land a combination. Landry sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Landry is rocked!

Dennis Landry's cut is getting worse.
Valcic lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Landry out cold! Landry is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
