Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucas Davenport!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davenport has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Vicious.
Vicious looks to land a body kick but Davenport moved away.
Davenport bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Davenport closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vicious quickly recovers to half guard.
Vicious wants to control but Davenport is keeping busy.
Davenport trying to control the action but Vicious is working from the bottom.
Davenport throwing shots but Vicious is blocking nicely.
Davenport winds up and cracks Vicious with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Davenport lands a nice short elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davenport is looking to take a break and control but Vicious is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Davenport slips a nice elbow through Vicious's hands, connecting with Vicious's forehead.
Davenport wants to pass to mount but Vicious is defending the position.

Davenport is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Vicious controlling the position well.
Davenport is trying to control the action in half guard but Vicious is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Vicious is trying to control but can't.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Vicious is staying active underneath Davenport, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Vicious is pressing down on Davenport's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Vicious pushes a forearm under Davenport's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Davenport is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
