Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kegon Ichimaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Kegon Ichimaru!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tommy Ward!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ichimaru lands with an uppercut that bounces Ward off the cage and back into range.

Ichimaru tries to sprawl but Ward drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Ward decides to stand and escape the position.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ward crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ichimaru - the referee stops the clock and Ward gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ichimaru. Ward manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ward darts in trying to clinch
and Ichimaru counters with a leg kick.

Ward tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ward tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ichimaru swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ward dives in for a single leg takedown but Ichimaru sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Ward tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ichimaru paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ward fails with the takedown.
Ward throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ward tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ichimaru defends well and Ward ends up having to push Ichimaru into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Kegon Ichimaru has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Ward.

Ichimaru tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Ward throws a knee to the head but misses.
Ichimaru throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Wards head.

Ichimaru manages to break the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ward doesn't manage to clinch there - Ichimaru circles away.
Ichimaru has been working on his boxing with his coaches at SWF GYM - JUDO 'n' MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Ichimaru connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ward looks for a takedown but Ichimaru sprawls well.
Ward doesn't manage to clinch there - Ichimaru circles away.
Ichimaru lands with a cross.

and Ichimaru counters with a nice uppercut.
Ward throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ichimaru.
Tommy Ward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ward scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Ward moves to clinch but Ichimaru breaks away
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Ichimaru lands a head kick. Ward smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Ward closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ichimaru circles away.
A jab from Ichimaru does it's job there.
Ward tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ichimaru connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ward tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ichimaru manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ward has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Ichimaru avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A head kick misses from Ichimaru.
Ichimaru lands a leg kick that knocks Ward off balance momentarily.
Ichimaru keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Ward is rocked!
The fighters circle, before Ichimaru throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Ward's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Ichimaru lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

A relieved looking Kegon Ichimaru thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
