The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zen throws a right and a left that both miss.
A nice inside leg kick there by Zen. That's going to slow Goless down.
Zen throws a leg kick but Goless sees it coming and moves out of range.
Zen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Goless.
Zen misses with a shot to the body

and Goless counters with a shoot takedown. Zen fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Goless is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Goless seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Zen for as long as he can get away with.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Robbie Goless just wasn't active enough.
Goless pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Goless fails with an attempt to clinch.
Goless keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Zen misses with a low kick.
Zen connects with a looping right hand.
Zen chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Zen tests Goless's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Zen slips a jab and a cross from Goless.

Goless bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Goless controls the position from side control.
Goless has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
