Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tahi Toru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edison Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edison Vaughn has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tahi Toru's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Toru gets a clinch.
Vaughn tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Toru tries to pull guard but Vaughn forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Toru is looking for a takedown.
Toru has been working on his balance at Finch Farm, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Vaughn.
Toru avoids a wild elbow strike from Vaughn.
Vaughn with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Toru works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Toru trying to control but Vaughn is working from the bottom.
Toru keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Vaughn's head.
Toru advances to half guard.
Toru wants to pass the guard but Vaughn is defending well.
Vaughn is trying to maintain the position but Toru is very close to passing his half guard.

Toru is working for a submission of some sort.

Toru is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vaughn doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Toru.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Toru wants to take a breather but Vaughn is having none of it.
Toru tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Toru is nestled in close to Vaughn, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Toru perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Toru wants to free his trapped foot but Vaughn is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Toru is working for a kimura but Vaughn is defending it quite comfortably.
Toru thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vaughn's head.

Toru wants to stand up but Vaughn is controlling the position.

Vaughn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Toru is working away from the top position though.
Vaughn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Toru. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Vaughn tries to get to full guard but Toru has control of the leg.

Toru maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Vaughn could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Toru has cracked it and Vaughn is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Toru!
