The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Catone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Torres pinned against the cage. Torres gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Torres.

Catone fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Torres sprawls well initially but Catone persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Torres throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Catone.

Catone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Torres as he jumps to the side.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Catone seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Torres shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Catone is backing up but Torres catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Catone covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Torres Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
