The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald tries to clinch up
and Jasta counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
McDonald tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jasta scores with a jab.
McDonald shoots in but Jasta avoids the takedown attempt easily.
McDonald throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
McDonald thows a left - swing and a miss!
McDonald closes the distance looking to clinch
and Jasta counters with a straight right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jasta keeps McDonald at a distance using the push kick.

Jasta forces McDonald back against the cage and clinches.
McDonald is still on wobbly legs! Can Jasta finish him?

Jasta jerks McDonald's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! McDonald drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Jasta goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Jasta because McDonald was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
