Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clinton Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Kuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mr Kuk told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Clinton Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuk fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kuk looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jones moves forwards but Kuk connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kuk lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A clash of legs there as Kuk blocks the low kick.
Jones lands an overhand right.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jones throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Kuk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Kuk persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.
Kuk uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jones.
Jones bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kuk's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kuk.
Kuk moves away from the strike by Jones.
Jones goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Kuk gets a clinch.
Jones gets underhooks to prevent Kuk's takedown attempt.

Clinton Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuk drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Kuk slips a nice elbow through Jones's hands, connecting with Jones's forehead.

and Kuk counters with a single leg into guard. Jones didn't expect that.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

so Kuk counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Kuk stops Jones from standing up.
Jones is wriggling around but Kuk manages to pass to half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kuk in particular looking to stall.

Jones pushes Kuk off looking to stand but Kuk dives back in and keeps control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kuk shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jones wants to control but Kuk is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Jones is pressing down on Kuk's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Kuk wants to stand but Jones has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Kuk wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jones is on top in guard.
Jones avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kuk is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily.

Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kuk swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Kuk lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Kuk landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Kuk is trying to control the action in half guard but Jones is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Kuk tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jones knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Kuk decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Jones throws out a loose jab but Kuk uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kuk lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kuk.
Jones tries a head kick but it misses.
Jones throws a series of punches but Kuk avoids them all with ease.
Jones moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Jones thuds his right hand into Kuk's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Kuk stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
Jones swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Kuk counters with a shoot takedown. Jones fights it but they end up in guard.
Jones is trying to control the position but Kuk postures up.

Kuk stands up and waves to Jones to follow him.
A combination from Jones does no damage.
Kuk fails with the takedown.
Kuk moves out of range of the strikes.
Jones throws a lazy right hand but Kuk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jones gets caught flat footed, as Kuk shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones wants to stand but Kuk is controlling the position.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mr Kuk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Jones throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Kuk wants to clinch.
Jones throws a shot from downtown. Kuk moves away and avoids it.
Kuk shoots in but no luck this time.
A swing and a miss from Kuk.
Jones lands a really nice looking cross but Kuk seems unphased.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kuk uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones.
Kuk has a takedown stuffed.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Jones misses with a two punch combination.

and Kuk counters by moving into the clinch.
Kuk tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jones smiles and moves away.
Clinton Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Kuk.
Kuk shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Kuk seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jones moves into full guard.

Kuk wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

Kuk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kuk manages to avoid it.

Jones has had enough of the clinch but Kuk keeps him there for the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jones lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kuk backwards.
Jones pushes Kuk back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kuk tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Jones prevents the takedown attempt.
Jones is trying to break the clinch but Kuk has him pressed against the ropes.

Kuk tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jones smiles and moves away.

Mr Kuk is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kuk shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.
And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Mr Kuk.
I've got Kuk winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
