Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucas Alves is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alves thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Alves darts in and clinches Ramos up against the cage.
Alves drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ramos gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Ramos is trying to drag Alves to the mat but Alves just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Alves postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ramos is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Alves, into his guard.

Alves is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Alves wants to get back to his feet but Ramos is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Alves lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Alves throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ramos works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Alves stands and throws Ramos's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Ramos tries to escape but Alves is in control.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Alves wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ramos keeps working.
Ramos is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Alves asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ramos trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
