Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lloyd Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan comes into the arena with Beast blaring out of the sound system. Lloyd Thomas acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nice jab there from Ryan.

Thomas looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Thomas wants to control from the top but Ryan keeps moving.
Ryan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Thomas manages to get himself to full guard.

Ryan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Andrew Ryan has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Ryan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Thomas has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ryan digs a good hook to Thomas's body.
Ryan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Thomas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ryan swivels and escapes.
Andrew Ryan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lloyd Thomas.

Ryan connects with a jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ryan punishes Thomas's body with a nice straight punch.
Thomas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ryan's waist but Ryan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thomas off to one side.
Ryan tests Thomas's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Thomas is rocked!
Ryan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Thomas is still on wobbly legs! Can Ryan finish him?
Thomas looks winded!
Thomas drops his hands momentarily. Ryan doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Thomas staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Thomas doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
