And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nakane sends Bill crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Nakane is motioning to the referee to let Bill up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Sidearm Bill has been cut.
Bill misses the shot to the body.
Some bone on bone action there as Bill checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Bill checks the leg kick.
Nakane throws a leg kick that misses.

Bill shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bill thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bill tries to stand and escape but Nakane is controlling the position.
Nakane is looking to escape.
Bill with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Nakane tries to get to full guard but Bill has control of the leg.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nakane is still trying to improve position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Bill shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A combination from Nakane does no damage.
Bill tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nakane sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bill somewhat.
Nakane listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Nakane throws a leg kick but Bill sees it coming and moves out of range.
Nakane lands a slapping body shot.
Bill is breathing heavily.
Jab, jab by Nakane - just one landing.

Bill is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Nakane ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Bill clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
