Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rauno Viittala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Castillo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Castillo not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Viittala regains full guard. Nicely done.
Viittala trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Viittala has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Viittala working for a triangle but Castillo defends it easily.
Castillo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Viittala tries to buck Castillo off but Castillo is having none of it.

Castillo stands up and we're back to a striking position.
A left and a right from Viittala both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Vincent Castillo has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Castillo attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

and Castillo counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Viittala has his foot on Castillo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Castillo works his way back into a safe position though.

Castillo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
A jab lands there for Castillo.
Viittala scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Viittala looks to land a combination. Castillo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Vincent Castillo's cut is getting worse.
Viittala lands a jab to the head.
Viittala swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Castillo pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Castillo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Viittala lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Castillo!

Castillo defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Viittala.
Castillo holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Viittala tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Castillo tries to hold on but Viittala postures up.
Viittala is landing with some decent strikes but Castillo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The referee warns Castillo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Castillo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
