Silva blocks a head kick by McVeigh .

McVeigh doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.
Brian McVeigh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McVeigh is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Silva's half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Silva is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McVeigh pulls his head out easily.

Silva has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for McVeigh . Oh but Silva has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! McVeigh goes limp - he's gone! Silva jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
