Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bear Grylls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grylls comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Man vs Wild Soundtrack Full Theme Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Paul Brown has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grylls throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Brown tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Grylls is in Brown's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Grylls throws a big right hand that misses.
Brown controls Grylls momentarily but Grylls frees himself.
Grylls postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Grylls is standing up over Brown. Brown looks to escape but Grylls dives into side control.

Grylls remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Brown is looking to improve his position but Grylls isn't that keen on the idea.

Brown wants to get back to his feet.
Grylls postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Brown looks a forlorn figure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Let's hope that Grylls has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Brown knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grylls on the ground.

Bear Grylls spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
