The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamida fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Assassin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kamida throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Assassin is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kamida.
Assassin avoids the head kick by Kamida.
Assassin drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kamida defends it well.
Kamida thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Assassin if he has to take too many more of those.

Kamida lands a lovely overhand right.
Kamida throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kamida closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kamida definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kamida wants to pass to mount but Assassin is defending the position.
Kamida takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Assassin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kamida pulls his head out easily.
