Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Vengrio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jer Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vengrio comes to the cage accompanied by Muay Thai. Bear has chosen Good Times as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear doesn't manage to clinch there - Vengrio circles away.
Bear throws a head kick but Vengrio moves out of range.
Bear misses with a hook.
Bear closes the distance looking to clinch
and Vengrio counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bear tries to clinch up
and Bear takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Vengrio on the wrong end of a nice hook.

and Vengrio counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bear is looking to clinch but Vengrio is avoiding it.
Vengrio slips a jab and a cross from Bear.

and Vengrio counters with a head kick that drops Bear - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vengrio is pressing down on Bear's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bear is holding on for now.
Well, if Vengrio is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Arthur Vengrio wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Bear just misses with a punch to the body.

Vengrio gets a clinch.
Bear wants to break the clinch but can't.
Vengrio throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bears head.

It looks like Jer Bear has been cut.
Vengrio prevents Bear from breaking the clinch.
Vengrio lands a left hand.
A right hook to the body lands for Vengrio.

Bear looks winded!

Vengrio lands a hook that snaps the head of Bear backwards.

Vengrio connects with a big uppercut there that sends Bear tumbling to the ground! Vengrio follows him down into his guard.

Bear is rocked!

Vengrio stands up and waves to Bear to follow him.
Bear is still on wobbly legs! Can Vengrio finish him?
Vengrio sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Bear's defenses. It connects perfectly with Bear's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
