Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dakker Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JunJun Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kane fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Jones misses with a series of wild punches.
JunJun Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kane throws a front kick that sends Jones stumbling back into the cage.
Kane throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Kane to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Kane drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kane jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Kane connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands.
JunJun Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kane. Jones shrugs it off though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kane is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kane tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kane to the ground. Kane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
