Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ade Oshineye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Fitzpatrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonathan Fitzpatrick told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzpatrick scoring well with a low kick there.
Oshineye throws a sloppy head kick and Fitzpatrick moves out of range easily.

Oshineye has Fitzpatrick up against the cage in a clinch.

The crowd are getting on Fitzpatrick's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

Oshineye breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

It looks like Ade Oshineye has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fitzpatrick stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fitzpatrick wants it to stay on the feet.
Oshineye takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Fitzpatrick connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
A solid leg kick lands there for Fitzpatrick.
Oshineye shoots in for a takedown but Fitzpatrick shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fitzpatrick throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Oshineye's head.
Jonathan Fitzpatrick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fitzpatrick tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Ade Oshineye seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Oshineye crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fitzpatrick - the referee stops the clock and Oshineye gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fitzpatrick. Oshineye manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Fitzpatrick has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oshineye gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Ade Oshineye's cut is getting worse.
Nice takedown defense from Fitzpatrick. No joy for Oshineye on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ade Oshineye. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fitzpatrick throws a front kick that sends Oshineye stumbling back into the cage.
Oshineye wants to stay close but Fitzpatrick steps back to make room for something. Oshineye seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Fitzpatrick and Oshineye drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
