Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kuuya Ueda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnus Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ueda comes to the cage accompanied by UnderDog - Test Eagles. Scott has chosen Ironfist as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kuuya Ueda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Magnus Scott!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Ueda enables Scott to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ueda manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Scott wants to pass the guard but Ueda is keeping the position.
Scott slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Scott working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Scott passes easily into side control. Nice work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scott swings around for an armbar but Ueda sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Scott's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Scott has control of Ueda's left arm, preventing Ueda from doing any damage.
Ueda wants to control from the top but Scott keeps moving.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Scott wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Scott sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Ueda is looking to clinch.
Scott shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ueda but Ueda pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ueda fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Scott has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ueda clinches up with Scott and pushes him back against the cage.

Ueda lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Magnus Scott has been cut.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Ueda obliges.

Ueda lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Ueda connects with a nasty looking knee right to Scott's face.
Scott takes a knee to the side of the body.

Ueda creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Scott's defenses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ueda has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Scott - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Ueda, and another! Scott is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
