The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fola backs up against the cage.
Fola is looking to land body kicks.
Alvarez throws a leg kick but Fola sees it coming and moves out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fola lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alvarez circles away quickly and effectively.

Oh but Alvarez is tightening it up a little... Fola has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Fola reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Fola taps out! Nice BJJ there by Alvarez!
