The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ufcowski jr lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gabriel at a distance.
Ufcowski jr avoids the body shot from Gabriel.

Ufcowski jr shoots in and gets a takedown into Gabriel's guard.
Gabriel not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ufcowski jr postures up in Gabriel's guard and throws a big left but Gabriel blocks it.

Gabriel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ufcowski jr sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gabriel somewhat.
Gideon Gabriel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gabriel shoots for a double leg takedown but Ufcowski jr sprawls well. He's pushed Gabriel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ufcowski jr throws the left hand but Gabriel avoids the punch easily.

Ufcowski jr gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ufcowski jr throws out a leg kick but Gabriel moves out of range and Ufcowski jr only half commits.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Gabriel working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
