Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Airbourne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Natural Born Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Airbourne comes into the arena with Slipknot-Pulse Of The Maggots blaring out of the sound system. Natural Born Killer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Airbourne is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Killer gets his way!

Killer feints and as Airbourne raises his hands in defense, Killer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Killer is pushing down on Airbourne's leg trying to pass to half guard. Airbourne is fighting to maintain full guard but Killer has managed to sneak the leg through.

Natural Born Killer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

and Killer counters with a shoot takedown. Airbourne fights it but they end up in guard.
Airbourne can't keep his opponent in guard - Killer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Killer is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Killer has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Killer looking to break Airbourne's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Airbourne remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Killer will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Airbourne looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Killer has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Airbourne! Can he survive? No! He's out! Killer gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
