With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jet Li!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dicko fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

enabling Li to counter with a crisp jab.
Dicko throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Li is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dicko.

It looks like Jet Li has been cut.

Dicko wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Dicko shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dicko, as that shot connected.

Dicko scores with a nice right hand.
Li throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dicko sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Li tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dicko was well out of range. Poor timing from Li.
Dicko ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Li looks to score with a jab to the body but Dicko is just out of range.
Li misses with a hook.
Dicko moves out of range of the strikes.
Dicko walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Li checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Dicko throws a lazy right hand but Li sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dicko punishes Li's body with a nice straight punch.
Li throws a series of punches but Dicko moves out of range.

Li walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Li throws the left hand but Dicko avoids the punch easily.
Li takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Dicko moves into range and clinches up with Li.
Li wants to get back to striking at distance but Dicko won't allow it.

Dicko swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Our sources have told us that Dicko has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Li tries to break free but Dicko pushes him back against the cage.

Li throws a right hand that Dicko ducks under and follows up with a left that Dicko also avoids with ease.
Li looks to score with a jab to the body but Dicko is just out of range.
Dicko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Li.

Li has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Li there as he acknowledges the shot.

Dicko connects with a good right hand that stumbles Li. Li circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Li tries to bum rush Dicko with a series of wild strikes but Dicko uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dicko lands a left and a right that send Li crashing to the mat, dazed. Dicko thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dicko circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Li to the canvas! Li doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Dicko keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
