Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Pierre Hennard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Stop (Blue Mix) - Ghost K. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Silva uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hennard has time to react.

Silva bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Hennard shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Hennard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
It looks like Silva has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Silva is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hennard can do to turn this around?

Hennard has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Silva.
Silva lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Hennard is looking to close the distance but Silva sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Hennard crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Hennard is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

After the fight, Eduardo Silva was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
