Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ondrej Rigo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raise Hell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hell is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mobb Deep - Hell On Earth (Front Lines). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ondrej Rigo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Raise Hell!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hell waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rigo.
Raise Hell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hell.
Rigo throws a lazy right hand but Hell sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
We've been informed that Hell has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Hell wants to slow Rigo down by chopping away at his legs.
Hell lands with a kick to the ribs.
Hell throws a body shot but no joy.
Rigo ducks under a wild hook from Hell.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hell throws a leg kick which misses Rigo's front leg but catches the back leg as Rigo tries to avoid it.
Hell throws a body punch but Rigo moves out of range.
Rigo on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Hell throws a hook to the side of Rigo's head but Rigo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Raise Hell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hell with a hook.
Hell lets loose with a powerful body kick. Rigo will feel that in the morning.
Hell is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hell connects with a crisp jab.
Hell uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rigo has time to react.


It looks like Ondrej Rigo has been cut.
A swing and a miss from Hell.

Rigo has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rigo there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rigo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Zero Tolerance in the buildup to the fight.
Hell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rigo checks the leg kick.
Hell scores with a jab to the jaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hell tries to land a front kick but Rigo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hell connects with a leg kick. Rigo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Hell throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Rigo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hell is fending him off so far but Rigo persists. Nope, Hell circles away and we're back to standing.

Hell dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Hell moves into the clinch.
Rigo tries to pull guard but Hell forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Hell keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rigo's efforts to push away.
Hell just leaning against Rigo, taking a breather.
Rigo misses with a punch on the inside.

Hell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hell clinches.
Hell makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Rigo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hell has him pressed against the cage.
Rigo jumps guard but Hell turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ondrej Rigo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hell lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Rigo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Hell blocks an uppercut.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hell.

Rigo wants to take the fight to the mat but Hell manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Rigo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hell pulls his leg out and moves away.
Rigo staying out of range there.
Hell scores with a hook to the body. Rigo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
That kick from Hell tenderised Rigo's leg. Rigo is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hell has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hell misses the shot to the body.
Rigo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hell.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raise Hell dominated that round.

Hell looks to throw the jab but Rigo is out of range.
Hell fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hell scores with a jab to the jaw.

Hell drives through and clinches with Rigo against the cage.
Hell lands with a right to the head.
Rigo is trying to stall.

Rigo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hell can pounce on him.

Hell fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Hell lands a nice hook to Rigo's body. Rigo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
That kick from Hell tenderised Rigo's leg. Rigo is trying to keep his angry face on.
Rigo takes one to the side of the head.
Hell paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Hell uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rigo has time to react.

Hell clinches up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rigo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
A short left from Hell.
Hell scores with a shot to the side of Rigo's head.
Rigo misses with a punch on the inside.
The referee is keeping an eye on Hell - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The crowd are getting on Hell's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

Hell turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hell manages to end up in side control.
Rigo is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hell off and has taken his back!
You can see the frustration on Hell's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Rigo is looking for the choke from the back position but Hell is controlling his hands well.
Hell rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Hell is looking to improve his position.
Hell is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Hell has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Rigo is working for a kimura but Hell is defending it quite comfortably.

Hell looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Hell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hell wants to control but Rigo is keeping busy.

Rigo is working for a kimura but Hell is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hell trying to hold on to Rigo's head to control him but Rigo postures up.

Rigo is looking for a kimura but Hell is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rigo to get the leverage.

Hell fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Rigo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hell wants it to stay on the feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hell walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rigo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Hell is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Rigo sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Hell connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.


Ondrej Rigo's cut is getting worse.
Rigo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Rigo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hell can pounce on him.
Hell throws a front kick that sends Rigo stumbling back into the cage.

Hell clinches.
Rigo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rigo is working for takedown but Hell is calmly controlling the position for now.
Raise Hell is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Hell blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Rigo jumps guard but Hell stands there with Rigo around his waist. Rigo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Raise Hell seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Hell throws a low kick but it's checked well by Rigo.
Rigo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hell defends well and Rigo ends up having to push Hell into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Rigo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hell fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Rigo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Hell closes the distance and clinches.
Rigo misses with a short punch on the inside.
Rigo tries to pull guard but Hell won't allow it.
Rigo looking for a takedown.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Rigo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hell lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Rigo wants to break free but Hell has control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rigo is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Rigo throws a head punch that misses.
Ondrej Rigo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rigo wants to get back to striking at distance but Hell won't allow it.

Raise Hell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
