Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xavier Worner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Parker!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Parker.
Worner misses with a takedown attempt

and Parker decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Worner's guard.
Parker cracks Worner with a solid left hand.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Parker's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Parker stops Worner from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parker is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Worner trying to keep a closed guard but Parker is proving a slippery customer.
Parker stands up over Worner, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Worner is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Worner has momentary wrist control but Parker slips an elbow through the middle.
Parker is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Parker landing with the ground and pound.
Parker chips away with some ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Worner looking to hit a scissor sweep but Parker is one step ahead there.
Parker sitting in guard here, content to control.
Parker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Worner is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Parker with a nice head shot there.
Parker is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Parker lands a couple of elbows.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Worner wants to improve his position but instead Parker has moved into half guard.
Parker seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Parker working the head and body with strikes.
Parker is controlling the pace.
Parker working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Parker seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Worner tries to get to full guard but Parker has control of the leg.
Parker looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Parker scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Parker controlling the action here.
Parker slips a nice elbow through Worner's hands, connecting with Worner's forehead.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Worner on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Well, if Parker is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Parker lands strikes from half guard.
Parker works his way into full mount!
Parker cracks Worner with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Parker lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Worner hang on?

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Worner is desperately trying to improve his position but Parker has a good base and remains in mount.

Worner takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Parker controlling from the full mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parker is landing with some decent strikes but Worner is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.


Worner is rocked!
Parker fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Oh Worner is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

A big strike lands for Parker! That's really hurt Worner and he's turned his back - Parker keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Parker jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Parker!
Bob Parker seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
