Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Fadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominic Berzins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fadden comes to the cage accompanied by Kill or Become by Cannibal Corpse. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dominic Berzins!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berzins displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fadden.
Good work by Fadden as he checks the leg kick.
Berzins closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Fadden fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Fadden ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
John Fadden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fadden looks to clinch
and Berzins counters with a left and a right that stings Fadden.
Fadden moves out of range of the strikes.
Donk. Fadden catches Berzins right on the button with a cross.
Fadden slips a jab from Berzins.
Berzins swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fadden counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Berzins!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fadden is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Berzins's shoulder. That is not cool.
Berzins is looking to regain half guard here but Fadden keeps moving and retains side control.

Fadden is putting a hurting on Berzins here, landing some big shots from side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Berzins can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fadden in side control, throwing shots but Berzins defends.
Fadden is working to tighten his grip on Berzins's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Berzins has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Fadden is really squeezing tight and eventually Berzins passes out! Fadden breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). John Fadden!
John Fadden got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
