Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lans Gregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexey Turshatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turshatov has chosen War And Peace as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Turshatov is defended easily by Gregor.
Turshatov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gregor tries to avoid it but Turshatov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gregor to the ground. Gregor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Alexey Turshatov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lans Gregor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexey Turshatov.

Turshatov shoots in for a double leg but Gregor sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

We've been told by Gregor's head coaches at Warrior MMA and Fitness that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Turshatov fails with the takedown.

Turshatov darts in and clinches Gregor up against the cage.
Gregor tries to break the clinch but Turshatov is controlling the position.

Turshatov ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Turshatov no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gregor has his hands clasped together but Turshatov extends and breaks Gregor's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Turshatov.
