The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanic shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Bauer counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Stanic looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Bauer trying to stall but Stanic improves his position.
Bauer is trying to push Stanic away but Stanic has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Come on Bauer - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Bauer has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Stanic is trying to keep an underhook but Bauer manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bauer happy to just control the position for now.

Bauer thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Stanic is looking to reverse the position.
Bauer tries to advance to mount but Stanic denies him.
Stanic tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bauer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Stanic looks to move to half guard but instead Bauer has passed into mount! Damn!

Bauer looking for the choke but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stanic is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Bauer working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Stanic is doing well to defend. Bauer seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Stanic is forced to tap and this one is over!
