Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Nojikoski!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nojikoski shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pace manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Nojikoski not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Pace trying to control the position.
Nojikoski wants to get up but he can't break Pace's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Nojikoski stays in close to Pace's body and controls the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lynwood Pace.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pace enables Nojikoski to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pace manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Pace is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Pace has a closed guard, preventing Nojikoski from standing up.

Pace is trying to keep Nojikoski in close.
Nojikoski content to stall in guard here.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Nojikoski closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Nojikoski has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Pace defend it? Nojikoski steps over the head and cranks it - Pace is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Nojikoski!
