Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bednyakov slips a jab and a cross from Ali.
Ali goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Vladimir Bednyakov has been cut.
Ali moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Bednyakov closes the distance and clinches up with Ali, looking for a takedown. Bednyakov pushes Ali against the cage but Ali circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bednyakov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Nice sprawl there from Ali as Bednyakov shoots in.
Bednyakov takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ali lands a jab to Bednyakov's midsection.
Bednyakov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ali to the mat! Ali manages to get full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bednyakov advances position into side control!
Bednyakov is breathing heavily.
The ground and pound from Bednyakov seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Ali is being controlled here.
Ali can't do much from the bottom here.

Bednyakov has hold of Ali's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Ali seems comfortable defending it but Bednyakov has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Ali is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ali is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Bednyakov couldn't care less - he's delighted!
