The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baumgartner tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Welker shoots in for a takedown but Baumgartner shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Welker works over Baumgartner's head and body with a nice combination.
Baumgartner has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Victory Gym and Spa in the buildup to the fight.

Welker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Baumgartner has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Welker has managed to get both his arms back between Baumgartner's legs - danger averted.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baumgartner has his feet on Welker's thighs here. He's pushed Welker off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Welker screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
