Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ross Vangard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Katona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katona throws a wild body kick that Vangard sees coming a mile off.
Vangard lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Katona circles away quickly and effectively.
Vangard steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Katona.
Katona is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Katona fails to land with a series of punches.
Vangard slips a jab and a cross from Katona.
Katona is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Katona tries to score with a low kick but Vangard moves his leg out of the way.
Vangard cracks Katona with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
No joy there for Vangard , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Katona gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Katona is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vangard .

Katona shoots in looking for a takedown. Vangard tries to sprawl out of it but Katona keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vangard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Vangard lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
